I had been behind photo editing for a while. I was caught up in so much building out my dungeon more that photos had fallen to the wayside more than usual. I’ve updated with number of new ones over the last month or so and I’m excited to continue sharing more as I complete editing.

My photography tends to be time extensive. I’m self taught and do everything myself during shoots. The sets, props and a lot of the outfits I make myself or spend a bit of time sourcing. When I am shooting photos I’m navigating using a hidden external remote and getting the gist of the pose and where I am located off a tiny screen on my camera from afar. It’s a finicky process. From there to get the style I like in my photos I’m on a tablet using a technique of separating the image into parts by objects and colors and individually working on each. This enables me to do things like completely remove things I am using to balance props or displays in photos ect. While it’s time extensive that contributes to the style I am going for.

The wig was originally long and had to be cut and styled for the photo. The illumination and toning of the different levels of the photo was done individually to give it a more otherworldly look. I did forget to edit out my coffee mug in top left corner.

I’m excited to start on building out various photoshoots throughout the year I have been wanting to do for a while. While it’s fun I do it mostly to keep some skills in practice during periods I’m not actively using them in other formats.

There other areas of my dungeon I have thought to allow visible in photos. Since I have generally for the time being only stuck to showing select areas of the dungeon. It is well known to those who’ve seen the space that there are other smaller separated spaces that are part of the dungeon that I have built and created things for. They are of some fun themes and different from what I usually present. However it’s an ongoing debate with myself whether I want to use them for photos or not.

I look forward to continuing putting out more of the photos I already have in queue and will keep those updating in both my main and 2025 galleries.
